Book Tells Stories of Partisan Rescue of Allied Airmen
Ljubljana, 30 May - A book about the rescue of Allied airmen during WWII was launched at the Museum of Contemporary History on Wednesday. "Zlomljena krila" (Broken Wings) by historian and museum counsellor Matija Žgajnar brings the stories of 806 airmen who crashed on the Slovenian territory and were saved by Partisan units.
