Twenty Years Ago Average Pay Could Buy Less, Statistics Show

Ljubljana, 1 June - Average net pay could buy Slovenians much less in 1991 than it does now, a comparison of statistics on average prices and average wages in Slovenia in the past twenty years shows.

The Statistics Office has calculated that the average monthly pay could buy 359 kilos of white bread in 1991, while today it can buy 555 kilos.
