Record Number of Donors Give Blood in 2011
Ljubljana, 4 June - Blood donation remains one of the most successful voluntary activities in Slovenia. A record number of 115,900 people gave a total of 42,000 litres of blood in 2011, the Slovenian Red Cross said on Monday as the country observes national Blood Donor Day.
