Increasingly Busy Mountain Rescue Service Celebrating Centennial

Kranjska Gora, 6 June - Slovenia's mountain rescuers are celebrating 100 years of organised service this year and are looking back at 8,366 rescue or search operations performed during this period. A total of 1960 people lost their lives in Slovenian mountains between 1912 and 2012 and the number of accidents is on the rise.
