Govt Planning Mergers of Secondary Schools
Ljubljana, 10 June - A dozen secondary schools across Slovenia will be merged after the end of the current school year as part of the government's drive to cut public spending. The move itself was widely expected, but the Education Ministry has encountered significant resistance, due to the way it has presented the reorganisation and because of the haste.
