Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Saves 600 Lives a Year
Ljubljana, 20 June - The national programme of cardiovascular disease prevention has contributed to lower mortality rates in the decade since its implementation, with about 600 lives saved every year, Jožica Maučeč Zakotnik from the Public Health Institute (IVZ) told a press conference on Wednesday.
