Ljubljana, 14 December - STOCK/EXCHANGE/LAST/AUCTION
The Thursday's, 505th in a row, stock exchange session was the last to be held in a classical, open-outcry way, as the institution switches to a fully computerized securities trading. Reasons for introducing the new system lie principally in "greater transparence of the market, higher efficiency of trading and bigger turnout," the Ljubljana Stock Exchange Director Draško Veselinovič said, adding "the step was also based on personal experience."
