National Council Vetoes Changes to Farmland, Lottery Acts

Ljubljana, 18 July - The National Council, Slovenia's upper chamber of parliament, vetoed changes to the farmland act and to the act on lottery operator Loterija Slovenije which were passed in parliament last week. The changes will be sent back to parliament and now need to be passed with an absolute majority of 46 votes.
