Writedowns More Than Halve SKB Bank's Profit

Ljubljana, 1 August - The banking group SKB, the Slovenian subsidiary of France's Societe Generale, saw its pre-tax profit fall by 64.5% year-on-year to EUR 7.35m in the first half of the year in what the bank assessed as a "solid result".
