Coalition Parties Sign the 1996 Budget Agreement

"I expect the agreement to result in passing the budget prepared by the coalition," Janez Drnovšek, president of the Liberal Democratic Party said, signing the 1996 budget agreement, adding it gives him great pleasure to see the coalition managed to prepare the 1996 budget in spite of occasional tension and conflicts of interests, thus ensuring normal functioning of the state in the year to come as well as economic and political stability.
