Ljubljana, 21 August - When Slovenia's election rules were penned in the August heat of 1992, the parties - as in other matters - wanted to secure a say in who can run for president. Even today, a presidential hopeful can run with support of a party, but so far no candidate running with party backing alone has succeeded, the daily Dnevnik writes on Tuesday.
