The Post of Maribor Gives a News Conference

The management of the Post of Slovenia emphasized at a news conference Friday that next year special attention would be paid to the modernization of trading, technological innovation, rationalization, opening new post offices and renovation of several older post office buildings. Next Autumn automatic sorting machines will be installed in Maribor, while in Ljubljana these are to be introduced in 1997. Construction of a new post centre with its total area measuring 22,000 m2 is to begin in Ljubljana. In March post area codes are to be changed from the present five to four numbers, as the initial 6 is to be deleted.
