Police Investigation Under Way at NKBM Bank
Maribor, 22 August - The National Bureau of Investigation raided Wednesday morning the headquarters of NKBM, Slovenia's No. 2 bank, and the house of former CEO Matjaž Kovačič. Unofficial information suggests the investigation is related to NKBM's real estate deals in Croatia and deals involving newspaper publisher Večer, online media report.
