Medical Chamber Says Austerity Measures Blocking Health Care

Ljubljana, 22 August - The administrative obstacles brought about by the omnibus austerity act limiting employment in the public sector hinder the Slovenian health care system, the Medical Chamber pointed out on Wednesday. New specialist doctors need to wait for weeks to get their contracts approved despite shortage of staff at hospitals, the chamber noted.
