Zver Running for President With Backing of Parties, MPs
Ljubljana, 24 August - MEP Milan Zver, a presidential hopeful with the backing of the ruling Democrats (SDS) and junior coalition New Slovenia (NSi), announced on Friday that he would file his nomination with the backing of parties and signatures of three MPs. This makes him the only hopeful among nine to stand for election this way.
