Heavy Snowfall All over Slovenia

Except for the coastal region, the entire Slovenia was covered in snow overnight. In the last 24 hours 20 to 30 centimeters of snow fell on lowland, and up to 55 centimeters on the Julian Alps, the Savinja Alps and the Karavanken. It is still snowing in most parts of the country. Weather forecasters expect snow will stop for a few days, anticipating heavy snowfall again at the weekend.
