Slovenia Start World Cup Qualifying Campaign with Loss

Ljubljana, 7 September - Slovenia kicked off its campaign to qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with a 0:2 loss to Switzerland in Ljubljana on Friday, the fourth defeat against the Swiss in six national games so far. Granit Xhaka scored in the 20th minute and the decider was provided by Gökhan Inler in the 51st.
