Business Forecasts for 1996

According to the poll conducted by Slovene Chamber of Economy's Economic Policy and Movements Office (SKEP) in December, 35 percent of industrial enterprises and 28 percent of trade enterprises expect their business position to improve in 1996. Three months ago forecasts were more optimistic. Among the enterprises included in the poll, one fifth of industrial enterprises and 19 percent of trade enterprises expect their business position to turn for the worse
