Govt adopts long-awaited changes to anti-corruption legislation

The government adopted changes to the law on integrity and prevention of corruption on Thursday. It says that changes aim to take to a new level efforts to prevent corruption by making the anti-graft commission more efficient. However, the commission says that the changes would strip away some of its key powers.

Slovenia's EV market surging

Sales of hybrid and pure electric vehicles in Slovenia soared in 2017. Car dealers sold almost 1,500 new vehicles, compared to 581 in the year before, according to vehicle sales figures released by the automotive section of the Chamber of Commerce (TZS).
