Public Healthcare System to Get Interoperability Spine

Ljubljana, 18 September - Health Minister Tomaž Gantar signed on Tuesday a contract with two IT companies to establish an interoperability spine within the eHealth project. The EUR 6.3m project, which is in 85% financed with European funds and the rest by the state, is aimed at facilitating the exchange of patient data among hospitals.
