Delo Says Elan Should Be Lesson for Handling of State-Owned Banks
Ljubljana, 20 September - The daily Delo says on Thursday that the demand from Brussels that sports equipment maker Elan must return EUR 10m in state aid should serve as a lesson to Slovenia. Elan's story shows that clinging on to national interest may be much more expensive than letting go, a lesson that should be applied to state-owned banks.
