Coalition Wants to Dismiss RTVS Supervisors

Ljubljana, 20 September - The Privileges and Credentials Commission voted on Thursday to dismiss the five supervisors of public broadcaster RTV Slovenija appointed by parliament, a move that threatens to leave the broadcaster without a supervisory board and comes amidst allegations that the government is trying to regain influence in the media.
