Slovenia Asks for EU Drought Relief
Brussels, 24 September - Slovenia has asked the European Commission for aid in alleviating the consequences of this year's drought, requesting an advance payment of EUR 10m allocated for such purposes in EU funds. Preliminary estimates put the total damage caused by the drought at EUR 60m.
