Jančar's "Great Brilliant Waltz" to Be Restaged after 27 Years
Maribor, 26 September - Slovenia's leading two theatre companies, SNG Drama Ljubljana and SNG Drama Maribor, have teamed up to stage Drago Jančar's 1985 play "The Great Brilliant Waltz" in its first new production in Slovenia in 27 years. The opening night will be in Maribor on Saturday under the banner of the European Capital of Culture.
