Average Gross Pay Lower for Women than Men in 2011
Ljubljana, 27 September - Women in Slovenia on average earned 95.4% of what men earned in 2011, which means that the average gross monthly pay for men was higher by EUR 74. According to the Statistics Office, the difference mostly stems from their different level of education, age and type of a job.
