Muslims Protest against Planned Ritual Slaughter Ban
Ljubljana, 28 September - The government's attitude to ritual slaughter of animals is not thoroughly thought through, the Slovenian Islamic Community said on Friday in response to the cabinet's adoption of changes to the animal protection act, banning all slaughter of animals without stunning, including ritual slaughter.
