Unions Propose 5% Ceiling for Fixed-Term Contracts

Ljubljana, 5 October - Social partners focused on the share of fixed-term contracts at companies and layoff provisions as they held the fifth round of talks on the labour market reform on Friday. Unions are determined to limit fixed term contracts to a maximum of 5%, while employers feel nothing is being done to boost employment.
