Minority Tells Carinthian Official to Resign Over Nationalistic Statements

Klagenfurt, 7 October - Representatives of the Slovenian minority in Carinthia have called for the resignation of Harald Dobernig as a member of the local government in the Austrian province after he said that Slovenians living in Carinthia are not real Carinthians. Slovenia's Ambassador in Vienna Aleksander Geržina also protested against the statements.
