Social Partners Make Another Step in Labour Market Reform Talks
Ljubljana, 11 October - The government, trade unions and employers agreed Thursday on a compromise on severance pay in negotiations on the labour market reform. The government gave in to unions' demand not to make significant changes to the severance system. It will also not insist on cutting unemployment compensation eligibility period from 25 to 18 months.
