Katja Seizinger Wins World Cup Giant Slalom in Maribor

Germany's Katja Seizinger won the second women's World Cup giant slalom in Maribor, Slovenia. Seizinger, third after 1st run, made the best second run performance. Second came Sonja Nef of Switzerland, achieving her first World Cup medal. Third was Friday's winner Martina Ertl of Germany.
