Govt Tweaks Pension Cuts, DL Withdraws Support to Opposition

Ljubljana, 23 October - The government officially backtracked on Tuesday on plans for a selective cut to pensions which are not directly tied to contributions, sending to parliament amended provisions of the omnibus austerity act and winning back the support of the coalition Citizens' List (DL), which had been announcing it would back an alternative opposition proposal.
