Parliament Simplifies VAT Administration

Ljubljana, 23 October - The National Assembly passed on Tuesday changes to the VAT legislation aimed at reducing the administrative burdens on both tax-payers and the Tax Administration. The changes increase the VAT liability threshold for small businesses from EUR 25,000 in annual turnover to EUR 50,000, but this needs to be approved by the EU.
