Slovene Premier on Slovenia's Associate Membership in EU

Ljubljana, 14 January - Slovene Premier Janez Drnovšek expects Slovenia and the European Union to sign an agreement on Slovenia's associate membership in shortest possible time, Government's Information Office reported Saturday. The bases of the agreement are the already initialled agreement on associate membership and the conclusions of the EU ministerial conference in Madrid.
