The Accounting Court of Slovenia gives a seminar on public financial supervision

Accounting Courts of Slovenia and Austria started a seminar Monday on public financial supervision. Taking place at Bled, the seminar is attended by about 50 officials from the Slovene Accounting Court, which started conducting audits as late as in the second half of 1995. With last year's audits being relatively simple - according to Accounting Court President Vojko Antončič they were limited to supervising operations of state agencies and public institutions - this year the Court plans to introduce more complex methods. Consequently, experiences presented by Austrian auditors during the five-day seminar will be more than wellcome.
