Red Cross to Aid 200,000 Slovenes and Refugees in 1996

In the year of the struggle against poverty, proclaimed by the United Nations, the Red Cross of Slovenia will participate in this international project by aiding approximately 50,000 Slovene families, or 200,000 Slovenes, who are becoming increasingly dependent on the 52 supply centres of the Red Cross in Slovenia, organization's Secretary General, Mirko Jelenič, told journalists Tuesday.
