Angry Students (Unofficially) Reach Agreement with Ruling Parties

Approximately 5000 students and fourth year college students from Ljubljana, Kranj, Piran and Maribor gathered Tuesday in front of the National Assembly building in Ljubljana to protest against government's decision to cut funds for subsidizing student lunch vouchers. At the end of demonstrations, President of the Students' Parliament Andrej Prepeluh announced that the student negotiators reached an unofficial agreement with representatives of the ruling parties (Liberal Democrats, Christian Democrats, United List of Social Democrats).
