Parliament Cuts Benefits to Officials

Ljubljana, 20 December - The National Assembly passed on Thursday changes to several laws, cutting benefits to former presidents, human rights ombudsmen, constitutional judges, members of the Court of Audit and officials in state bodies from 100% to 80%. The decision follows a similar cut to allowances of ex-MPs passed by parliament in June.
