Savings Deposits Dominate Slovenia-Croatia Relations in 2012

Ljubljana, 26 December - Slovenia-Croatia relations this year have been dominated by the long-running dispute over Yugoslav-era foreign currency deposits, first because of Croatia's approval of lawsuits against the defunct Slovenian LB bank and its successor NLB, and then the first-ever European Human Rights Court ruling against Slovenia in the case.
