Prior to the departure of the Slovenian negotiating team to Rome to conduct talks on bilateral relations with Italy there should be no fear. The National Assembly discussion on the viewpoints and mandate of the Slovenian delegation behind closed doors indicates that Slovenians have realized that one must stand on firm ground where state affairs are concerned, writes Boris Jaušovec.
