Foreign Minister Peterle Welcomes Argentinian Graduates

"To the Argentinian graduates, a visit to Slovenia - homeland of their parents and grandparents - represents both an award for their achievements and encouragement to continue exploring the language and customs of Slovenia. To Slovenia, their visit represents a contribution towards preserving the nation's ties with expatriates all over the world. Such contacts, when the young generation has finished its studies and career training, lead to further economic ties between countries," Slovenian Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle said in an interview for STA today. Minister Peterle, together with Minister of Defence Janez Janša and State Secretary for Slovene Expatriates Peter Vencelj, received 22 high-school graduates from Argentina at the Villa Podrožnik today.
