In January 1995, Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek met separately with representatives of most parliament parties to discuss key issues of Slovene foreign policy. Domestic political scene was importantly marked by foreign policy matters throughout the year and seems to be on the way to continue so in 1996. Premier Drnovšek is to hold consultations on Slovene foreign policy this January as well.
