Double Life of Stephen Koch

Ljubljana, 30 January - KOCH/BOOK
The Mladinska knjiga publishing house published a new book Tuesday, titled Double Lives and subtitled Spies and Writers in the Secret Soviet War of Ideas against the West. Written by an American critic, novelist, historian and lecturer and the New York's University of Columbia, Stephen Koch, Double Lives is a deeply moving, exciting and tragic story about Willi Muenzenberg, one of the invisible rules of the 20th century Europe, a genius propagandist and a German communist, whose task was to captivate western intellectuals for the Stalin-led Soviet Union. The author Stephen Koch attended the news conference Mladinska knjiga gave to present the book, while in the evening he is to participate in a talk prepared by the Club of Nova Revija.
