Banks Prevalent in the Secondary Securities Market

At a news conference Thursday, Agency for Securities Market Director Igor Kušar presented the agency's activities over the past year, as well as situation in the securities market, authorized Investment Companies, Mutial Funds and the new legislation. Last year's major investors in secondary markets were participants themselves, among which a strongly dominant position was held by banks, told Kušar.
