Slovenia to Pay EUR 40,000 in Compensation for Undue Process
Strasbourg, 18 April - The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruled in nine cases against Slovenia on Thursday, ordering the state to pay a total of EUR 40,000 in compensation over violating the plaintiffs' right to fair trial within a reasonable period. The trials in question lasted between seven and 14 years.
