Slovene President Kučan and Austrian Parliament Speaker Fisher on Today's Talks

Bakovci, 9 February - Following the talks in the village of Bakovci Friday, Slovene President Milan Kučan and Austria's Parliament Speaker Heinz Fischer gave a joint news conference to inform the journalist on the issues discussed. According to President Kučan, they dealt with the situation in Slovenia, the problems Slovenia is facing in its efforts to enter EU and other European integrations, recent changes in the Slovene government coalition and the way they affected mutual relations. Slovene President also said he hoped Austria would continue giving support to Slovenia.
