Bond Issue Suspended as Moody's Downgrades Slovenia's Rating

Ljubljana, 30 April - Slovenia's issue of a dollar-denominated bond was suspended on Tuesday after the news broke that the country's credit rating may be changed. Indeed, shortly after Moody's downgraded Slovenia's credit rating by two notches from Baa2 to the high-risk Ba1. Pundits believe the move to be an attempt to undermine Slovenia's financial plans.
