Slovenia Among Traffic-Wise Most Dangerous European Countries

Ljubljana, 13 February - Four-hundred and fifteen people died in traffic accidents on the Slovene roads last year, while 7,977 were severely or slightly injured. Safety on the Slovene roads is among the most critical points of safety in Slovenia - the only point dividing Slovenia from the term "safe European country". Other fields of safety are "normal" and, compared to other European countries, relatively favorable," Božo Truden, a representative of Slovene Ministry of Interior, told a press conference Tuesday.
