The Reasons for Closing the Ljubljanska Banka Zagreb Branch

A Zagreb branch of the Ljubljanska banka bank which was the only remaining of once 33 branches of Ljubljanska banka in Croatia ceased operating with its customers at the beginning of this year. A resolution on the cessation was adopted by the board of managers of the Slovene Agency for Bank Restructuring because there was no solution in sight as to the claims of Croat customers and because the former Ljubljanska banka had no sources of revenue, STA was told by Miran Heric, president of the board of managers of the former Ljubljanska banka.
