Phone Taps Unveil Case of Cronyism Among Ranks of Reporters

Maribor, 28 May - Corruption and cronyism have surfaced among top level journalists as recent trial against former Maribor Mayor Franc Kangler unveiled a number of phone taps, including transcripts incriminating a senior journalist and editor at the Maribor-based daily Večer. Journalist associations in the country have responded with outrage.
