December's Employment Down in Economic and Up in Non- Economic Sectors

In last December 586,255 persons were employed in companies and other organizations, which is a 2.4 per cent increase over December 1994. According to the National Statistical Office 126,795 persons were unemployed in December 1995 or 2.6 more than in the same period a year earlier. Last December's unemployment rate was 14.5 per cent.
